About
For a party that will be the talk of the playground - you can trust us! With over 1000 fizz-popping parties under our belts, we know how to make a party go with a bang! The focus is on fun, with lots of hands on experimenting for the birthday child and all of their guests. Be wowed by dramatic demonstrations and get stuck into some very cool chemistry.
Our parties include an hour of hands-on experimenting for the birthday child and their guests, all materials and we take away the washing up! Most people make this into a two hour party by the time you’ve allowed for latecomers at the beginning and food/cake afterwards. Our standard sized party is for up to 15 children with one Fab Scientists presenter, whilst larger parties are for 16-30 children and run by two Fab Scientists.
We tailor each party to the age range attending and the space that we are working in. Typical activities include colour-changing potions, balls that float in the air, liquid rainbows, exploding lemonade and ‘magically’ inflating balloons. Most of the experiments are for all of the children to have a go at, with one or two ‘wow’ demos thrown in! Choose from a Super Science party or Professor Fab’s Potions Class… presented by a witch and perfect for a Harry Potter or Hogwarts-themed event.
Any venue can be a party lab; smaller parties can easily be hosted around the dining table at home but a hired hall is a better option for bigger groups as we need quite a bit of space for everyone to do their experiments. We just need access to a sink and somewhere to park (science doesn’t travel light!).
We offer a couple of optional extras:
- Super cool dry ice demonstrations, see more here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qS6vRJ89lDY
- Science-themed party bags, see more here: https://www.fabscience.co.uk/party-bags/
